Transylvania Adventure Retreat May 2027 — Mountains, Legends & Thermal Bliss

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure into the heart of Transylvania, a land of dramatic mountain landscapes, ancient forests, medieval castles and legendary tales.

On arrival into Bucharest, we journey into the spectacular Carpathian Mountains and make our way to Bran — a magical mountain town steeped in history, folklore and the legends of Dracula.

Nestled between the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains, Bran is the gateway between Transylvania and Wallachia and home to the iconic Bran Castle, famously associated with the legend of Count Dracula. Surrounded by forests and soaring peaks, it's the perfect setting for our mountain escape.

Our Mountain Home :

For three nights, we'll stay at the stunning Carpathian Log Chalets, an incredible pair of beautifully designed wooden chalets tucked into the forest on the outskirts of Bran, with spectacular views across the surrounding mountains.

Each chalet has five ensuite bedrooms, huge cathedral-ceilinged living spaces with roaring fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlooking the landscape, fully equipped gourmet kitchens, and our own sauna and jacuzzi.

Think cosy evenings by the fire, mountain air, incredible scenery and plenty of time to relax, do yoga and enjoy the adventure.

Three Nights in Transylvania

Our time in Transylvania will be packed with experiences — from exploring the legendary Bran Castle and discovering the surrounding mountains and forests, to adventure, relaxation, great food and simply soaking up the atmosphere of this extraordinary part of the world.

And then… we're off to Bucharest for one final, action-packed 24 hours!

On arrival in Bucharest, we'll head straight to Therme Bucharest, Europe's largest wellness and thermal spa.

Opened in 2016, Therme is an incredible indoor and outdoor tropical paradise built around geothermal thermal waters, surrounded by thousands of plants, huge glass domes, themed saunas, relaxation areas, pools and waterslides.

We will have the chance to experience its three spectacular worlds:

Galaxy — For those looking for a little more adrenaline, with high-speed water slides, a wave pool and plenty of space to play and relax.

The Palm — A 14+ tropical oasis beneath a huge glass dome, surrounded by more than 1,500 palm trees, mineral pools and swim-up bars.

Elysium — The ultimate adults-only wellness experience, with beautifully themed saunas and steam rooms, relaxation lounges and even a cinema sauna.

After three days of mountain adventure, this will be the perfect way to unwind, soak, sweat, swim and completely switch off.

On our final night in Bucharest, we'll head to Excalibur, one of the city's most unique and atmospheric restaurants. This isn't your ordinary dinner — it's a full medieval experience!

We will be transported back in time, surrounded by medieval décor, knights, shields, wooden tables and an atmosphere straight out of a medieval banquet hall.

Expect hearty food, plenty of atmosphere, lots of fun and a few surprises along the way — because what better way to finish our adventure through the land of Dracula and medieval castles than with a proper medieval feast!

It will be the perfect final night to come together, laugh, eat, celebrate our adventure and create a few more unforgettable memories before heading home.

* The rooms in our Chalets are double beds only so you can choose to either share a room and a bed with your lover or bestie or have your own room with a double bed to yourself - no twin bed option. Possible to have seperate duvets in the double beds but beds cant be seperated.
